PROJECT ASSOCIATE

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Project Associate is a full-time, permanent position and will be responsible for providing
project management and support to clients and administrative support to the principal.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Client Management (50%)
Track and monitor client activities. Ensure follow-up items from meetings are distributed and acted on.
- Assist on drafting development plans and producing written materials for clients as needed.
- Conduct extensive research on prospective funding opportunities for clients including, foundations, corporations, and individual donors; draft prospective donor profiles and
briefings and develop prospect lists.
- Create and organize development materials for clients, including templates,spreadsheets, and reports.
- Compile notes and data from informational stakeholder interviews.
- Assist on client events as needed.
- Respond to client and prospective client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Utilize CRM databases and track work flow.
Administrative and Office Management (50%)
Assist with principal's scheduling and travel.
Manage billing and expenses
Assist principal with day-to-day firm management including administration and business development.

- Experience with Database Management, MS Office Suite, and Wealth Research toolssuch as WealthEngine or Donor Search.
- Commitment to progressive causes.
- Bachelor's degree required.
1-2 years development/fundraising experience preferred.
